Lunch with uk_kay_kay.....

This afternoon, I got together from one of my out-of-country friends who was back in the States visiting family and friends. I first knew Rachel, aka "Kay-Kay", from the old Living City BBS (now defunct). She married a guy from Scotland, and moved over there.

We went to the Quaker Steak & Lube in Beavercreek, OH. I had a single order of hot chicken wings (they make 'em just like they do in Buffalo -- moist, meaty, and saucy!).

There was a lot of catching up to do; the last time I saw her was in '96. She showed me pictures of her house, both interior and exterior. She got to see my house and meet the cats. Unfortunately, The Wife and The Girl weren't there to meet her. Hopefully she'll be able to make a return trip something this week before she flies back to England.

I also found out she has an LJ, but hasn't made many entries. Her LJ name is uk_kay_kay. Give her a warm welcome!
