Virtual Hot Tub Party!

Looks like the January thaw is over. It's cold again. Temperatures are in the 20s, or negative single digits on the Celsius scale. Brr.

And there's no snow. :-(

Time to uncover the hot tub on the back patio. The temperature is an ideal 104 degrees Fahrenheit (or 40 degrees Celsius). There's enough bromine in there to kill any nasties. We're all adults here, so swimsuits are optional if you so choose.

Ideally, the best time to be hot tubbin' it is in the winter, at night, with the snow falling, the hair on the back of your head freezing over, and the rest of the body soaking in warm comfort.

So I'll just strip down to my swimsuit, slowly step into the hot tub, and unwind.

Aaaahhhh. Come on in! The water's fine! Or in other words, Open Topic! (To quote filkertom, have fun and play nice.)

People look at me as if I'm nuts when I mention outdoor hot-tubbing in winter. One of the dorms at school did this as a fundraiser, and got on the local news. I tried it for the first time several years ago at a local Mensa party. It was great. Then when R and I went to the Hocking Hills for a weekend getaway (we rented a chalet with a hot tub in back), we got in the hot tub again, and it started to snow. Yeah it was chilly getting in, but were nice and warm coming out.
