True, Although I'm glad to say that out local birch beer is still here and doing well. It's available at our local Tops Markets as well as our local Family Dollar. I usually buy it at FD because there it's $1. a quart/littre. and it's less trouble to lug home those glass bottles when I'm only going a few blocks as opposed to taking a bus trip.
