It's Canada Goose season again.....

At my office park, there are plenty of Canada geese around. Some of the males have been seen atop buildings. Now they're starting to pair up and nest.

I already know they're quite territorial. If I get too close to them, they'll hiss at me. I'd rather not be nibbled to death by geese. (But as far as I know, they're herbivores.)

Speaking of nibbling....would Canada geese make good eating? Or not?

Depends upon the diet. Usually they're pretty good eating, particularly the wild ones that have been fattening up on corn fields up and down migration route.

They're not really herbivores -- if they nab a frog or bug or fish, they'll quite happily eat it.
