Time to say goodbye to Merlin.....

The health of my black cat, Merlin, has been slowly deteriorating over the last few months. I had him at the vet in September, when they did blood work and found early stages of kidney failure. I tried to take better care of him, but he kept getting worse.

This past weekend, he seemed a little better, but I know this is the end for him. I think he said his goodbyes to his brothers, and maybe to me. This morning, he started shaking.

As soon as I can get the cash together, I plan to have him euthanized and cremated.

I'm gonna miss him. :(

I'm so sorry that your grand old boy won't be with you for much longer. It's never easy to say good bye to such dear old friends. Hugs and kittynip to you all.
