TW-3 for Feb. 15-18, 2007......

It's been a while since I've done a "That Was The Weekend That Was" post. Since I received no feedback on them, I figured people weren't interested in my day-to-day goings on.

Fri 2/15: Worked. Sort of finished the coding I was doing. I don't know if my changes made it into this delivery. There are still a few bugs in it, but my focus is being shifted to testing. Had dinner with the Usual Suspects at LaRosa's.

Sat 2/16: Went to a liquidation sale at Hara Arena. I saw an ad for dome tents for $15, but alas, there weren't any tents to be had. I also didn't like the surprise of having to pay $7 just to get in. (Ah well, Hara's gotta make their money somehow. But they should have stated that in the commercial.) I bought a couple of software CDs and a pad folio. Then I tried to download a 12 Mb video file someone sent me in email. I wasn't successful. Had a dinner meeting at China Cottage. Then went back home.

Sun 2/17: To paraphrase [livejournal.com profile] happyfunpaul, had some UU churchy goodness. Then went to pick up M. Had a major scare when she fell on the inside stairs, tumbling down and backward. I thought she was going to break her neck and end up paralyzed. Thankfully, she was able to walk away from the fall. (Note to self: Clear off the stairs immediately!) Watched a little bit of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Mon 2/18: Started on my taxes. Took an old laptop hard drive -- the 3 Gb one -- to a local EBay consignment store. But since they're mainly interested in listing items that would go for $50 or more, they didn't take the drive. Had lunch with Todd, my account manager, at City Barbecue. Started a batch of split pea soup. Went to Kroger to pick up ingredients for the Lentil Soup Project this coming weekend. Had a frozen dinner instead of the soup as the soup wasn't ready by dinnertime.
