I guess that the example of the Hamilton Tigers (aka Montreal Maroons, aka the New York Americans) has been forgotten. If Hamilton couldn't support a team then with only the Leafs for competition, how they think it'll stay up now with the Sabres added in. I think that placing an NHL in Hamilton, ON would not be a smart move.

I know that Canadians would like to see a team move to Canada instead of away from Canada. The Phoenix Coyotes were formerly the Winnepeg Jets after all. But I'm not sure where I'd put one.
