I used to have my own website, until the ISP I was with changed hands and the new ownership had forgotten that I ever existed. And I haven't come up with the dough for a new website and domain name. Maybe someday.....
I resisted signing on to Facebook until August of '09, when I had several outstanding invites from several friends. And I finally broke down and started my account there.
Yeah, some of Facebook's so-called features and policies drive me nuts. Like rolling out new changes unannounced and undocumented. Or not offering a way to edit posts. And their cavalier attitude towards user security, making "Facebook security" an oxymoron.
