Back to reality......
Like any Monday after a con, I just want to curl up in bed and sleep in until noon. But I couldn't today. I had to finish a list of sucesses for my career counselor. I eventually got it done, during lunch at Beef O'Brady's.
The meeting went well, and I have another assignment due Thursday afternoon. Afterward, I drove down to the Amos Center in Cincinnati for the Election Protection volunteer meeting. It's inside the former St. George Church in the Clifton Heights neighborhood -- a beautiful building that's now a community center.
The volunteer staff was overwhelmed. They were expecting 350 people tonight....and got 700. Now they're pulling an all-nighter to find tasks for the rest of us that didn't have an assigned task.
Dinner was back at Beef's, since Elsa's closed their kitchen a few minutes after I got there. :-(
