Y'know, if it were that secret a breeding program, you think they'd have done it somewhere other than KEY WEST. Seeing how 1)that's a huge tourist trap, and 2)cats don't swim...

But wait! If they get opposable thumbs, maybe they are supposed to hitchike off the islands! That's perfectly sensible!
