TV's Vampira has passed away.....

Maila Nurmi, who was better known as Vampira, one of the original TV horror movie hostesses, has died.

I enjoyed reading about her stint as Vampira. I don't remember her on TV but we didn't always have a tv when I was young, so.... Loved the photos of her, too.

I just wish she had not felt so cheated by Elvira because I got the idea that they had very different styles and obviously different eras.
