Brad & Beth's wedding

ohi! Debbie first got me hooked on online journals, through her daily Blatherings.
For those of you that went to Ohio Valley Filk Fest (OVFF) this past weekend: Sorry I couldn't attend this year; hope you all had a good time. Maybe next year.
Anyway, the reason I didn't attend OVFF this year was to attend the wedding of one of my friends. I've known Brad for about 7 years. We first met through a local mens' group. We both completed and survived the New Warrior Training Adventure, although we went at different times. He has since started a business, The Computer Zoo, which is my first choice for computer hardware. Brad was also one of the groomsmen at my wedding.
How they met: Beth was teaching a psychology class at the University of Dayton. Brad was one of the graduate students who was taking the class. They didn't start dating until after the class was completed. (Hey, gotta play these things by the book, y'know?) One of their first dates was seeing "Star Trek: Generations" together. Or was it "Star Trek: First Contact"? They dated for nearly 7 years before deciding to tie the knot.
The wedding ceremony was held at once of the cloisters at the Dayton Art Institute. It is a beautiful location; the entrance has the appearance of an old church (complete with stained glass windows), and has a glass ceiling. The reception was held at the America's Packard [Automobile] Museum in downtown Dayton. I didn't know this place existed! It is in a building that used to be a Packard dealership, and has nearly 50 cars in the collection. Some of the cars had current license plate tags, and one of them was used to bring the bride and groom to the reception.
I wish these two great hapiness and success.
