All dogs were boys and all cats were girls. the cats had mixed litters. This was blown away when I was about 7 and our cat bimbo had a litter of kittens. I asked my MOm where the puppies were. turns out she had the same belief when she was a kid. Except that the dogs were girls amd cats boys.
