As promised, here are my .
Predictions for 2006.
Technically, I should have done these before the year started.
1. Playboy will offer Mariah Carey $2 million to pose in the altogether, and Mariah says yes.
1a. Mariah will sing some really high notes during the photo shoot and crack the camera lens. :)
2. The Democrats will find the cojones to begin the impeachment process against George W. Bush.
3. Slobodan Milosevic -- you remember him, right? -- will be found guilty of all charges against him. (The trial's still going on, right? Or is it over?)
4. The next major natural disaster will hit mainland China. It will be an earthquake.
5. Saddam Hussein's trial will not end this year; it will be dragged and delayed into 2007.
6. Osama bin Laden will still have evaded capture. Bloody bastard.
7. Ground will be broken on the new World Trade Center on 9/11, commemorating the 5th anniversary of the attacks.
8. Pat Robertson will be exposed as the Great Satan and therefore discredited.
9. A major movie star will be killed in a vehicle accident (car or plane). (As for which one, my magick 8-ball says "Reply hazy; try again later.")
10. The Cincinnati Bengals will lose the AFC Conference Championship to the Indianapolis Colts.
