Fri 12/10: I don't remember what we did after R came home. She didn't care for the items I cooked, so she had something else for dinner.
Sat 12/11: Had a chiropractor appointment in the laste morning. In the afternoon, The Girl conked out at home, so there was no afternoon drive. R had the afternoon and evening off, which enabled her to spend some much needed Girl Time with her friends Andrea and Karen (visiting from out of town). Meanwhile, I was on Daddy Duty, staying close to The Girl, and changing DVDs. It was frustrating to load a DVD she'd ask for, and after five minutes of watching it, hearing her say "Off! Off!" and ask for another one.
Sun 12/12: Went on the Turtle Creek & Lebabon Railway with the family. They had a special Holiday run, which featured a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The train was a slow ride to Santa's North Pole workshop, which was actually a corner of a local golf course and driving range about 5 miles away from the station. Instead of turning around, the train just went in reverse for the return trip. This was The Girl's first train ride, and she enjoyed it....as long as the train was in motion. Also did some holiday shopping.
Mon 12/13: Once again, The Girl did not want to get dressed for school. Managed to get her dressed. Slept in after she left with R. R called to ask me to bring a bill for her -- one she wanted to take care of today but forgot to bring it with her. Dropped it off. Had lunch at DiSalvo's Deli, and submitted a job application there. Cashed a savings bond and deposited in my checking account. Mailed some bills.
