That's not how I voted.
I think lots of people didn't bother with the details and voted the way the commercials told them to. Commercials funded by the Republican Party.
State Senator Jeff Jacobsen made a comment that those who were supporting issues 2-5 were "liberals and special-interest groups.......who are out of touch with the voting public." And some said Reform Ohio was a sour-grapes sore-loser attempt at trying to seize power when the voters didn't vote for them.

And now we're up to eyeballs in elephant dung here in the Buckeye State.
I guess Ambrose Bierce was right. Conservatives are enamored with current evils; liberals want to replace them with others.
