I'll take anything I can get my hands on, especially the globals. I'm a newbie at KDE, although I'd be coming in with expert Windows knowledge.
As you probably already know, Linux on the desktop is only going to take off if (1) it won't require people to retrain from Windows and/or MacOS, and (2) if there's a bunch of applications out there that will work under Linux. If I have my facts straight, Linspire (nee Lindows) came as a descendant of the Wine project. I know of one vendor who offers systems with Linspire pre-installed.
As for the toilet stain, I tried emptying the bowl as much as I can, dumped a 2-liter botle of Coca-Cola in it, let it sit for an hour, and the stain was still there. :-(
