Did I mention there's tea?

I'm being mischievous today. I made tea in the office coffeemaker this morning.

I made the good stuff -- PG Tips. I can usually stretch out a bag to three mugs. So I thought, "What the heck, let's make a pot."

Although I probably should have rinsed everything out beforehand so I could get rid of the coffee residue. But the cream and sugar do a nice job of covering that up.

Whatever you do, stay away from Lipton. It's only good for iced tea.

If I were in your office and staggering over to the coffee pot for my fix and found tea in there, I'd pour all of it in your cup at once. Don't wanna waste it. ;) Just sayin'. Coffee drinkers are generally more violent than tea drinkers. Think of it as crack addicts vs heroin addicts.

I've tried hard to like tea--have tried many, many varieties, but I do not like it. I especially don't like it with milk and sugar although I'll choke down a cup with lemon.

I made sure to label it "tea".

We have three 2-quart thermal carafes in the office -- one for regular coffee, one for decaf, and one for "gourmet" coffee. Our admin assistant, who was off today, usually makes the coffee. The coffee fiend in our office doesn't come in until 10:00 or so, and he'll make gourmet coffee for himself.

I'm finding that although coffee wakes my body up, it dries me out. That's why I'm making an effort to drink more tea in the morning.
