I found another commercial that conveniently forgets the laws of physics. It's the one for A1 Steak Sauce with the janitor in the centrifuge. Okay, it's a little amusing, if not far-fetched, but once again, it's Not Quite Right!

Where they found the bottle, and how they defeated the safety mechanisms to get inside, I don't know. That part probably ended up on the cutting room floor. Anyway, in order for that stunt to work properly, the bottle should be held not from right-to-left as shown in the comercial, but outward, towards the "audience" (or camera lens). The piece of steak would need to be held in front of the bottle, lest it end up on the camera lens. (Horrors!)

Two words: Centripetal force. Yeah, it's that important. Duh!

I'm starting to believe [livejournal.com profile] stormlight811. These commercial writers do not have a background in science. Is it any wonder the US lags behind other countries in math and science education?

I agree that the pull is along the radius of the circle, but isn't the janitor on the circumference with the camera at the center? I would have said that the bottle should be aimed directly at the janitor.
