Is #64 supposed to be "Money" by Pink Floyd? (The line as I know it is "think I'll buy me a football team" -- but it could indeed be a different song)

Affirmative on #64. You are correct on the lyric; I mixed it up with the "I think I need a Lear Jet" which closes the second verse.

Good question.

I always thought it was "sweet family" -- Jim Morrison's poem called "The Hitchhiker" (on "An American Prayer") appears to back this up. (URL: http://www.thedoors.com/band/jim/?fa=poetry2)

FWIW, the webhits on Google seem to favor "sweet family" to "sweet memory" by about 10 to 1.

But another website -- http://www.amiright.com/misheard/index.shtml says that the correct lyric is "Sweet memory...".

So what's the correct lyric? Anyone got a copy of the sheet music or the LA Woman album or CD? Are the lyrics in there?

BTW, I usually listen to instrumentals when I put these together or guess at them. It keeps the mind clear and undistracted.

Of course, WLIR was unlikely to play the Doors back in the day.

And 92.7 is a Spanish-language station now (sigh)
