poltr1Well, it looks as if everything from my blog has been restored from the database and whatever backups they had. I don't think I've lost any entries from the great LJ Blackout of '05. I even have the stuff from Friday afternoon before the power hit. I'm impressed.
Unfortunately, homes damaged by tsunamis, tornadoes, floods, etc. cannot be restored as easily.
Now is a good time to do backups on my hard drive(s). And yours. Murphy's Law is always "still lurking about"!
Meanwhile, I'm going back into the hot tub. It's supposed to snow tonight, but I don't care.
