poltr1The voters (and The Wife) has spoken: Lose the beard! The tally (as of 18:00 EDT Sat 09 April): 2 to keep, 2 to trim, 8 to shave, 1 to say "I gotta see".
And so, I took scissors to the beard on Thursday night. Then I tried the razor blade on it, but there were still too many hairs that missed both. Friday morning, I used the electric, which has a sideburn attachment for trimming long hairs. It got most of them. Today, I took the razor to the face again, and the beard is officially history.
Next time, I should let a barber do the trimming.
Will I grow another one next winter? Maybe; maybe not.
