   I live here.
3. elp:
   Emerson Lake & Palmer - one of the progressive supergroups of the 1970s. Keith Emerson on keyboards, Greg Lake on guitars and vocals, Carl Palmer on drums.
4. grindergirl:
   One persona of performance artist Kiva Kahl. Makes lots of sparks with a power grinding wheel and plate mail. "Pinup girl meets Superhero meets metal shop." I think she's hot! Visit the Grindergirl web site! And don't forget to see her on Friday nights on CBS' Late Night with David Letterman, during the "Will It Float?" segment.
   
5. king crimson:
   Another progressive group, not as well known as ELP or Yes. Never had a top 40 single. Gave us folks like Greg Lake, Robert Fripp, and Adrian Belew.
6. mensa:
   The high-IQ society for those in the top 2% (98th and 99th percentiles). Yes, I qualify. I joined in '93. Let my membership lapse in '03. So I'm a genius. Big Fat Hairy Deal. That and a buck will get me a cup of coffee. Two bucks if I go to Starbucks.
7. omaha the cat dancer:
   One of the bestest comic books ever written. Definitely a comic for us "big kids". WRitten and drawn by Reed Waller and Kate Worley. Adult characters, adult situations, and sex!
8. recovering catholic:
   Yeah, I've been seduced by the Pagan side of the Force. And I like it. :)
9. synergy:
   The one-man band comprised of studio musician Larry Fast and a whole bunch of keyboards, effects devices, sequences, and other tech.
10. world music:
    Just like I love foods from all over the world, I love music from all over the world, sometimes blending them in a type of fusion.
