***Buzz!!!*** Wrong answer, thank you for playing! As a parting gift please accept this home version of our game! :D :D :D The SCA gives an annual "Brass Ring Thing" medieval faire at that site. [The Brass Ring on a carousel ride is a remnant of the brass ring target knights used to joust against] It's also become an informal letterboxing meet and greet place, so I get to visit it at least twice a year!

Date: 2006-02-02 04:37 am (UTC)The 5th edition is what we used in AP Physics class in high school. It had a yellow/gold cover. There's also a split version, published as two volumes. Earlier versions may be known as "Sears/Zemansky" since Young wasn't part of the author team.
Its major "competitor" was Halliday/Resnick.
Too bad my college physics instructors chose to go with some other text. (No, I didn't score high enough on the AP test to be able to test out of Physics 107/108.)
