Once again, it was time to visit my parents in Buffalo NY for the Thanksgiving holiday. Here's the extremely shortened version of the trip.
Tue 11/25: Packed up the car and left for Medina OH (south of Cleveland) for an overnight stay.
Wed 11/26: Checked out; continued the drive up to Buffalo. Took my mom shopping. Went to Duff's for chicken wings with my friends Louis and Liz.
Thu 11/27: Visited my parents for Thanksgiving Day. Did most of the cooking this year. Turkey was prepared using the tried-and-true "Scarborough Fair" recipe -- parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. And a cooking bag. Yummy!
Fri 11/28: Visited my friends Bill and Darleen, who just had a baby boy. Had dinner with my friend Sal at Buca di Beppo. Did laundry.
Sat 11/29: Went to Ted's Hot Dogs for lunch. Went to Niagara Falls and drove up and down the Robert Moses Parkway. Had dinner at Mighty Taco. Stopped in to visit my old college Beachboard buddies Larry, Rich, Todd (and Kelly), and Dave E. Also heard from longtime friend Shelly, whom I haven't heard from in years.
Sun 11/30: Packed up the car and drove back to Dayton OH.
