I'm also throwing in the towel on the accumulation of newspapers, pamphlets, paper files, etc. Even if I managed to boil them down to a series of newspaper clippings, who would be interested? Only me. The truth is, if I'm interested in a topic and want to read me, I usually head over to Google.
There are some exceptions, though. Job hunting tips, usually from James Challenger. I'll rip 'em out and save them in a file folder.
But the old copies of the Dayton City Paper, Info World, et al? If I didn't read it before now, I don't think I'll miss them.
I just need to be ruthless and have the fire in the belly to go through them quickly, via a yes-or-no sorting. Just like I'm doing with old mail.
