Dreambits....
Jan. 29th, 2009 01:42 amSometimes my dreams go into re-runs.
This evening, I dreamed I was part of a crew filming an 1930's baseball game. I was in charge of setting up a pyrotechnic display that would go off at a critical moment (the batter scoring a home run). I was sitting in the bleachers, several rows above where the pyrotechnics were rigged. I set the charge, and there was a 30-second countdown. At the critical moment, the pyrotechnics didn't go off. I was glad they didn't, because there were 4 people sitting too close to where the pyrotechnics were located. I advised them, "I think you'd better leave." They didn't. There was also a dignitary sitting in the bleachers several rows below me and to the right, away from the pyrotechnics. He was the one we were trying to impress.
And that's when I woke up.
