The remnants of box 1.....

Last week, I found some file folders that were part of my oldest box of files: Box 1. This box had files pertaining to my comic book collection, gaming, and the various clubs and organizations I belonged to in the 1980s.
These were tough files to go through. I could only go through them in small chunks of available time while M was playing on the computer.
Comics: I had notes, comic shop newsletters, and promotional items such as monthly newsletters. I kept the company promotional newsletters from DC, Eclipse, and Comico. Maybe they might be worth a little money.
SCA: I used to belong years ago, from 1985-87. I had old issues of Pikestaff (the East Kingdom newsletter), Ice Dragon (the baronial newsletter), event handouts, and old Domesdays (rosters).
dagonell offered to take what I was willing to part with, in order to pass on to the current historian/archivist.
Gaming: I'm still in the process of going through this file. Lots of history here -- old characters sheets, gaming cons I've been to, lots of notes, and even an attemt at GM'ing.
The cleanup and pruning is getting done -- little by little.
