"A Wish for Wings that Work"....

I recently remembered that there was a Bloom County Christmas special, called "A Wish for Wings that Work". (I taped it off the air, but have since misplaced the tape. Not surprising, given the entropy factor at home.)

As far as I know, it only aired once, in 1991. Or did it air more times than that?

Raise your hand if you'd like to see it again, or released on DVD.

I never got much into Doonesbury, but I loved Bloom County. I still do.

I know that amazon.com has copies on VHS available.

I have a copy of it that was ripped from a tape. Not the best copy, but watchable. I'd like to see a DVD of it, though honestly, I think Breathed could have done MUCH better. (Perhaps with practice; it was his only animation, AFAIK.)
