The house reorg continues....
Jan. 8th, 2007 08:54 amThe CDs were reorganized last week. They are now sorted by genre, artist, and order of release.
Last night, I finished organizing the cassettes. They are mostly sorted by number (which was assigned when I recorded on the tape). I now know I am missing tapes #32 and #250. I know what was on #32; I don't remember what was on #250.
Both things needed to be done. It's been years since I last reorg'ed the collections.
Eventually, I'd love to take the stuff I have on cassette and transfer the contents to CD. I Have Roxio (nee Adaptec) Easy CD Creator, Sound Forge XP, and a cassette deck I can hook into the computer. Is there any software out there that can enhance cassette recordings? Will I need anything else (other than the time to do this)?
And maybe someday, I'd have all my media catalogged in a database.
Shoutouts: Happy birthday
