And belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY wishes to

This just in: And a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to

NCAA Division I Men's Tournament update: After a total of 60 games, 4 teams (and three games) remain: Marquette, Kansas, Texas, and Syracuse.
Local teams: The UK Wildcats beat Wisconsin in the third round, but lost to Marquette in the fourth round.
What about some other famous college hoops teams who made it to the Sweet 16 this year? How well did they do?
The Duke Blue Devils lost to the Kansas (KU) Jayhawks in the third round.
The University of Maryland (UMd) Terrapins -- last year's big winner -- lost to the Michigan State (MSU) Spartans in the third round, who then lost to Texas in the fourth round.
The Syracuse (SU) Orangemen beat Auburn in the third round, and beat Oklahoma in the fourth round.
The champtionship game is on Monday. Who I am rooting for? I'd like to see a Jayhawks/Orangemen final, with Syracuse wnning. (Now, where did I put my Orange Crush?)
And what about the womens' tournament? Yes, there is one going on, but it's not covered as heavily as the men's tournament. Let me pay homage to Title IX and try to rectify that imbalance.

NCAA Division I Women's Tournament: Their final four consists of Duke, University of Connecticut (UConn), Tennessee, and Texas. UConn has had a strong team for years.
Their champtionship game is on Tuesday. I'd love to see a Duke/UConn final, with Uconn winning! (And if Duke wins, that's OK with me.)
