Since work has been a little on the slow side recently, I've been using some of my idle time to catch up on Phil & Kaja Foglio's Girl Genius online comic. As of this afternoon, I'm all caught up with the Girl Genius 101 strip.

I've been a fan of Foglio -- remember, the g is silent -- since the days of MythAdventures! and D'Arc Tangent. I like his style, his sense of humor, and the way he buries little jokes in the background. Example: If there's a scene with a bookshelf in the background, look closely at the names of the books on the shelves.

Check out his other works at Studio Foglio.

Oh yeah. I think Agatha Clay is one hot babe. :)

I started working on a annotated girl genius website before I started grad school. Updating it is on my to-do list.
