We have goslings!

At work, we have a Canada goose who has nested on one of the islands in the parking lot. We think its mate was killed in a car accident a few weeks ago, so we've been feeding it cracked corn.

Today, "Lucy", with a friend, has been parading her four goslings, who apparently hatched this morning or last night.
It's become today's topic of conversation and time sink as we watch the chicks follow mom.

but beware of impending hilarity. There's a stretch between 'awwww-hood' and goose-hood which can only be described as 'ambulatory-alien-toiletbowl-brush-hood'. ;)
