Memories of 7-Eleven.....
Jul. 11th, 2007 09:01 amThere used to be a 7-Eleven convenience store near where I grew up. It was next to the local branch library. I'd go there on my bike and get Slurpees in the 32-oz collectors' cups.
I think I still have some of those cups. I wonder how much they're worth now. I remember one of them had Brainiac (one of Superman's arch-enemies).
The last time I went by there, it was either a beauty salon or a bakery outlet store. And the branch library was closed, too.
There's no 7-Eleven near me, so I can't get Slurpees anymore. But I can get Icees, Slush Puppies, or frozen Cokes. But they're not quite the same.
