This list, like the last one, is incomplete. I'm open to suggestions. Specifically, I'm looking for shareware utilities that would be of great benefit to the average computer user.

WinZip file compression/extraction utility
TextPad text editor

I'll second Textpad. I've used it for at least ten years and it's a really solid text editor. Especially using its quick macro capability, I can make it sing when slicing and dicing text files.
