Computer woes continued.....

poltr1Some of the apps I was running at the time of the crash are now toast and need to be reinstalled. Office 97 (taskbar), Norton SystemWorks (an alleged problem with the license), Yahoo! Instant Messenger. Oh, I can dial out and connect, but then I get DNS errors, saying it can't find the server. So no more email and LJ from my desktop for a while.
At least I didn't lose any data, as far as I know.
