poltr1 | No longer snowbound.....

After spending yesterday sequestered at home -- there were plenty of things to do to keep me occupied -- I managed to get out today. The plowing contractor took care of our condo complex this morning. I had to dig my car out, but that was no big deal. The snow was relatively light. Then I drove to R's place to dig her car out. It's a lot easier when someone else does the plowing; there's not as much to dig out.

Spent the afternoon with M. We went out for lunch, then came back home. Then M wanted a sled. So we went to one of the local hardware stores, and to Wal-Mart. But no sled was found. We settled on a $10 toy set.

I'm surprised the roads were as clear as they were. I think today's clear and sunny weather helped.
