Buffalo trip report, July 2010........

poltr1Once again, I made a week-long trip to visit my mom in Buffalo, NY. I typically don't publicize these trips in advance for security reasons.
I'm also going to skip mentioning the numerous shopping trips I made for Mom and myself. I'm sure Tops and Walgreens were happy to receive our business.
Mon 7/19: Drove to Buffalo. Had good weather for the drive.
Tue 7/20: Visited with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kliklikitty, who made turkey burgers for dinner and taught me how to play Farkle. Gave dagonell my old laptop, Tardis Mk II, to give to cigfran_cg.
Wed 7/21: Had dinner with longtime friend Darleen (WINOLJ) and her 2 sons.
Thu 7/22: Didn't do a heck of a lot this day. I think I went to Anderson's for beef on weck for dinner.
Fri 7/23: Had dinner at Santora's with longtime friends Louis and Liz (also WINOLJ).
Sat 7/24: Drove around Grand Island. Had clams on the half shell for lunch. Went to the Buffalo Brew Pub for a pint of their amber ale. The weather was iffy,so I didn't go to Shakespeare in Delaware Park.
Sun 7/25: My sister came into town for a few days. We went to a family reunion organized by two of our cousins.
Mon 7/26: Had some car repairs done. The gutter guy came buy to fix a small problem. When he ran the backyard hose to flush the gutter, I noticed that the faucet was leaking inside of the house, right above the fuse box. The plumber was called and was ascheduled to repair the leak on Tuesday afternoon.
Tue 7/27: Left for Dayton. Again, had good weather for the drive.
