The answers to "Name That Toon!"

Last week, I posted a list of 25 quotations from various Warner Bros. cartoons. The goal: Provide me the name of the cartoon and the character who spoke it. (Click on the link above if you still want to play.)


And now....the answers to "Name That Toon!"

[1] I originally couldn't find a source for this quote. The Looney Tunes Sound archive had incorrectly filed this under Sylvester. If I remember correctly, the cartoon featured a card game, and the penalty wheel. "Happy Birthday" was one of the penalties, and it involved some sort of cake and pyrotechnics/fireworks. A further search on this archive identified it as an unnamed cat in "It's Hummer Time"; presumably the same cat who kept losing to the dog in "Early To Bet".

[2] It was either the man or Charlie the dog who pointed to the Leaning Tower of Pisa when they said the line. dagonell said it was the man. I have no information to refute this. Charlie was the one who went to hold up the tower from falling over.
