Name that tune (continued)........

Looks like everyone is as stumped as I am on the 3 songs I posted yesterday that I cannot identify.


I have a fourth song. I remember hearing it when I was shopping at the factory outlet mall in Jeffersonville last year. The chorus mentions the phrase "It's an ordinary day". Someone suggested Great Big Sea, and I thought it was them based on the lyrics, but I just listened to a clip on mp3.com (it was from the album Play), and that version is too high-energy. The version I heard is a slow ballad, it's in C, and sung by a male. It was reminiscient of the Hollies' "The Air That I Breathe".


Can somebody help?

Ordinary World dates back to after Andy and Roger had both left, but before John left. They had Warren Cucarilo in those days. To the best of the nets' knowledge and mine, David Sylvian has never been a part of their equation.

Thanks for the pointer tho; I had no idea Andy, ROgerm and John had re-joined or that Warren had left. I might give them another listen. -H...

Somehow I thought I read somewhere that Sylvian joined them. Maybe it was a hallucination. Or crossed wires in my brain. That does happen.
