poltr1Sun 11/28: Once again, the Usual Weekend Morning Routine -- get up with The Girl while The Wife sleeps in. Watched the Koala Brothers, the Wiggles, and part of Higglytown Heroes on the Disney Channel before The Girl started shoting "Off! Off!". Put on some more videos for her. (My daughter's becoming a little couch potato.)
This afternoon, it was another trip out to the horses at Serendipity Stables. This time, it was Serrey who diagnosed The Girl. Through her handler and interpreter Michele, she diagnosed M as having an upset stomach and suggested organic chicken broth and rice for M, and herbal tea baths. Sweet Adeline did some work on me -- she identified gallbladder and liver problems (yes, I'm a choleric), and suggested milk thistle and herbal tea baths for me.
After the trip to the farm, we stopped at Carfagna's Market to get some sausage and other yummy Italian goodies I can't find elsewhere, like dried figs, their famous sausage, and a pannetone bread for the holidays. We also stopped in to visit our friend Carol.
Dinner was at the local DQ.
And I'll be getting together with my out-of-town friend Rachel tomorrow (Monday) afternoon for lunch.
