Here's how I felt this afternoon: Cold. Tired. Hungry. And Lonely.

Here's what I wrote elsewhere:

"I look up at the sky and it's gray and overcast. The temperature is above freezing, but not very much so.

These are the times when the head, the heart, and the body go into shutdown mode.

I may feel sad and angry, but I've become so accustomed to the feeling that I've become numb to it.

And so I'll pour myself a cup of Lapsang Souchong tea, add a shot or two of cream, gently slip into the hot tub (or the jacuzzi), and forget about the rest of the world for at least a little while."

After some tea -- actually, I had some Formosa Oolong -- a soak in the tub, and some dinner, I felt much better.

Maybe it's depression. Maybe it's blood sugar levels. Or both. Or just a case of the blahs. But it's nice to know that it's curable.
