Being thankful.....

poltr1It's far too easy for me to look around and see what I haven't got: paid-up credit cards, lots of space, a good-paying job, perfect health, a clutter-free home, friends in town, a strong body.
But my shadows often cover up my gold: a daughter that loves me, a wife that's still with me, decent health, a good line of credit, a roof over my head, good friends that are out-of-town, supportive parents (even if I kvetch about them), a full pantry, a full freezer, a full fridge, a car that's paid off and working, a strong mind, a strong heart.
