poltr1I'm feeling much better now. Strength is mostly back. But I still have a hacking cough, which I'm attributing to bronchitis. (And I don't even smoke!)
On Wednesday or Thursday, I blew out/coughed up/expelled something that looked like the source of my misery. I'll spare you the gory details, but it was UGLY! and looked like it spawned something new every day.
I also saw my regular doc for my quarterly wellness visit. They gave me some more scrips, two of which I refused. I already had amoxicillin from my urgent care visit, so I didn't see the need for a Z-Pack. And one of the drugs conflicted with something I was already taking. I finally got to see the nasty side of Nurse Pat. Apparently she isn't used to people not following orders or directions. Nurse Judy would have taken care of me, but she had to leave early.
Oh yeah. tardis is feeling much better now too. Microsoft was no help, since all their resources are being focused on newer operating systems, even though W98SE support expires this June. Packrat that I am, I still had the patches from the original application, and applied them again. I also found the security update disk, but it requires more free space than what I have. And I removed and resinstalled the wireless card driver, and it's working! Now to do that for the Macally drive enclosure's driver, which still shows up with a yellow exclamation point.
