Week of 5/13/02

Not much going on this week at the LODB&G. At work, I've completed a marathon update of adding part owner information to a parts list containing over 3400 parts....and I had to add them one at a time. I tried to write a query to do this grunt work for me -- that's what computers are for -- but the database gagged and said "it didn't update these records due to key violations". Argh argh argh. And then I go home and spend more time on the computer. Am I addicted or what?

gleepy told me about the LJ-specific tags in the FAQ. I think I'll try them out.
