I'll take Potpourri for $100, Alex......
May. 20th, 2004 03:26 amNote to self: As good and addicting as Tim Horton's Iced Cappucinos are, they're already premixed with caffinated coffee, so if you have one at 5 pm, you'll be up for a while.
Colour my name: poltr1. Hmm....I wonder how it maps words and names into the 255-levels-of-RGB scheme.
The future of rock & roll won't be found on the FM band: One of the nation's best progressive music radio stations, Oxford's WOXY-FM (aka "97X -- Bam! -- The future of rock 'n roll!") was recently sold. The station will soon become an internet-only radio station. Listen for it here.
New user icon: I found the stash of test photos from which my old user icon came from. I've recently changed it. There are about a dozen pictures, which, after gamma-correcting, cropping, and scaling, makes about a dozen icons. Unfortunately, as long as I'm a freeloader (i.e. free LJ user), I can only have three icons to my LJ account. I also made a few others, based on other pictures I had.
Weighty matters: At the doctor's office last week, I weighed in at 222 lbs. That's a good drop from the nearly 245 I started off with at the beginning of this year....or was that last year? My goal of 220 lbs by 7/1 is within striking distance! The hard part is keeping it off.
