My holiday weekend (part 1).....

My family and I spent the Fourth of July weekend in Sandusky, Ohio -- halfway between Cleveland and Toledo. My friends B and D (and their young son d) came down from Buffalo to spend time with us.

Due to the length and detail, I'm breaking this up into two parts.

( Saturday: Getting there. Some sightseeing. )

( Sunday: Shopping, swimming, bird watching, and the Mystic Belle. )

Next: Monday and Tuesday.
