poltr1Old news: The Sabres won Game 6 in OT on Tuesday, but lost Game 7 on Thursday, 4-2.
I'm still sad that my team lost. But I'd rather they'd lose the conference final than the league final.
Still, to go to a seventh game shows how nearly even-matched the teams were. Not too many points separated them in the season's final standings.
Even though they lost, I still love my team. And I'll be rooting for them next year.
Although I sometimes wonder if the Smoking Man has anything to do with this.
