Here's what I found so far while reviewing some unlabeled audio tapes (I've done #271-#283 so far):
- Some albums I forgot I recorded
- A few housefilks from 1993
- A couple of "mix" tapes
- One business development seminar tape that can be wiped
Two of the mix tapes deserve further mention.
"Fired Up!" was a self-motivation tape It had a series of songs that get me pumped up and/or picked up, such as Maynard Ferguson's version of the theme from "Rocky", Gowan's "Keep Up The Fight", Peter Gabriel's "Don't Give Up", and a few tunes from the Rippingtons. It also had some sound bites interspersed between the songs.
"XLR8" had a few songs that make me want to pop an imaginary clutch and shift into imaginary overdrive while I'm driving on an expressway -- Van Halen's "Dreams", White Zombie's "Black Sunshine", and Rush's "Red Barchetta".
These tapes are prime candidates for transfer to CD.
