It's been almost a week since Anna Nicole Smith died. And still it's the top story on the entertainment channels.

WTF? Is the entertainment press trying to turn her into this generation's Marilyn Monroe?

I think it's time to drop the story and move on.

Yes, they are. I've seen CNN say as much, in fact. It's obscene, and not in any good way.
